R & S FSW Provides A 2 GHz Analyze Bandwidth

Author:OMO Release Date: 2017年7月20日

5G wireless technology, high-end radar systems and automotive-related applications developers need a very large bandwidth to analyze the broadband signal, R & S FSW high-order signal and spectrum analyzer new hardware options for these applications need to provide a 2 GHz Analyze bandwidth.

With the new R & S FSW-B2001 option, the internal analysis bandwidth of the R & S FSW high-order signal and spectrum analyzer can now be expanded to 2 GHz. The test solution enables R & D personnel to study broadband signals in detail without the need for additional digital converters.

The R & S FSW-B2001 option provides 14-bit ADC resolution and extremely wide dynamic range, featuring excellent SFDRs; for example, 1200 MHz bandwidth has an SFDR of -65 dBc and is directly converted to excellent signal analysis performance. The R & S FSW can measure EVM values of approximately -40.0 dB using OFDM signals at 28 GHz bandwidth (792 MHz bandwidth, 300 kHz carrier interval, 64 QAM, 4096 carrier).

FSW up to 2000 MHz bandwidth helps a new generation of mobile communication standards and 5G power amplifier research and development. In addition, aerospace and defense developers can use 2 GHz analytical bandwidth to measure radar pulses as low as nanosecond widths and analyze frequency-agile radar or frequency hopping wireless communication systems. The application of automotive electronic components R & D includes the characteristics of the FM carrier signal for radar applications and the ultra-wideband signal in the keyless intelligent system.

The R & S FSW-B2001 option is now available in the R & S FSW43 and R & S FSW50 high-end signal and spectrum analyzers at 43.5 GHz and 50 GHz, respectively. In addition, the R & S FSW with built-in 1200 MHz analysis bandwidth option (R & S FSW-B1200) can be easily upgraded with an authorization code.
